Cookies and browser storage

ModsFT uses essential cookies and browser storage to provide the site. Theme preference is kept in local browser storage; a first-party cookie prevents repeat likes from the same browser; and dashboard sign-in uses authentication cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile is used for comment bot protection when configured. Advertising cookies are not active. First-party visit measurement runs only after you choose Accept all; Google Analytics also loads after that choice.

Essential storage

Essential storage supports core features, account security, abuse prevention, and preferences you choose. It cannot be switched off through this preference control without affecting those features.

Optional cookies

Choose “Accept all” to allow optional analytics. Choosing “Essential only” disables analytics and removes ModsFT analytics identifiers and Google Analytics cookies where the browser allows. You can update this choice here at any time.

Comments and email verification

When you request comment verification, the email address you provide is sent to the configured email provider so it can deliver a one-time code. ModsFT stores a keyed hash of the normalized address to enforce one comment per app; the address itself is not stored with the comment. Turnstile sends a verification request to Cloudflare when enabled. Email and bot checks are used only for comment submissions.

Download and analytics status

Ads are not running. With analytics enabled, ModsFT stores a random browser identifier as a keyed hash, event totals by day, and public page or app identifiers for up to 180 days. It does not store raw IP addresses, page query strings, email addresses, or a claim that an external source completed a download or installation. Your cookie choice does not enable advertising.
