What the app does

Fossify Gallery is an Android photo and video gallery for media stored on your device. The project describes basic photo-editing tools alongside browsing and organizing features. Check the official project pages for the current feature list and supported devices.

Release details

The F-Droid listing currently identifies version 1.14.1 (30), requires Android 8.0 or newer, lists a 36 MiB APK, and uses the GPL-3.0-only license. Release information can change; confirm the version and requirements on the publisher's page before installing.

Install and update options

For the simplest ongoing updates, use the F-Droid client and open the official Fossify Gallery listing. The direct APK is hosted by F-Droid, not ModsFT. Installing an APK manually does not provide update notifications through the F-Droid client; check F-Droid's guidance and verify the source before installing.

Privacy and permissions

Review the permissions shown by Android and the current F-Droid listing before installation. Grant only permissions that make sense for the features you choose to use. This ModsFT sample is not a security audit or a guarantee about the app or its publisher.
